The traveling festival served as a stage for Vi de la Terra Mallorca to unveil its Christmas carol, performed by local wineries, aiming to bring Mallorca\u2019s wines into family celebrations this holiday season.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Ra\u00efm Wine Fest received an enthusiastic reception in Costitx during its tenth edition, which featured participation from a dozen wineries, live music, children\u2019s activities, and a carefully curated selection of gastronomy. These key elements of the Vi de la Terra Mallorca\u2019s traveling festival came together in style this weekend to launch the Christmas season in front of 2,000 attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Regulatory Council of Vi de la Terra Mallorca chose to celebrate the holidays in a unique way this year by creating a Christmas carol. Sung by the wineries\u2019 members themselves, the carol encourages people to think of Mallorca\u2019s wines as a gift \u2014 a wine to celebrate Christmas, to toast with family, and to share good times at the table with best wishes for the season:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winemakers themselves lend their voices to the carol, which is also the official Vi de la Terra Mallorca holiday campaign advertisement. Supported by the Consell de Mallorca, the campaign includes radio spots and giftable postcards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Twelve wineries participated in this edition: Es Verger Esporles, Tianna Negre, Finca Binibona, Vinyes-Celler Sebasti\u00e0 Pastor, 7103 Petit Celler, Bodegues Vidal Serra, Dunord Vit\u00edcola, Sa Cabana, Bodegas Angel, Butxet, Karret\u00e0nia, and Jaume de Puntir\u00f3<\/strong>. With their wines, attendees raised their glasses in festive cheer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Live music added to the atmosphere on the stage set up in Costitx\u2019s Plaza del Jard\u00ed, where performances included Guiu Cort\u00e9s (El Ni\u00f1o de la Hipoteca), Cobie, Forr\u00f3 Do Pulpo, DJ Esburbat, and Peptronik<\/strong>. Attendees also enjoyed children\u2019s activities, food trucks, and offerings from local businesses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This tenth edition of the Ra\u00efm Wine Fest, which closes out the year 2024, was organized with the collaboration of the Costitx Town Hall and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Natural Environment of the Government of the Balearic Islands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
