First came Costitx, then Deià and Portocolom, and now, it’s Porreres’ turn. On June 1st, Porreres will host the fifth edition of the Raïm Wine Festival, organized by Vi de la Terra Mallorca. It’s a meetup that first took place in 2022 and that, since then, has expanded as a reference event in which wine, music, and gastronomy go hand in hand to offer a magical night in a privileged surrounding. This new edition will be held in the Oratori of Sant Felip Neri, one of the most distinguished monuments of the municipality of Porreres.
During this edition, we will discover new wine cellars while accompanied by the music of Monkey Doo, Cacao, and Aina Losange. We will find Mesquida Mora and Can Feliu, from Porreres, next to the Finca Ses Talaioles, Bodega Olorón, Vidal Serra, Blanca Terra, Vino de la Isla, Jaume de Puntiró, and Son Juliana. They will offer the assistants more than thirty references. Wine glasses will be available at 2€, at the same price of each glass of wine to taste.
The Festival, with limited capacity, will open its doors at 6pm, and it will finish at 2am. It will gather a wide audience interested in the world of wine and culture, a winner combination that cannot leave gastronomy out of the equation.
The commitment to local products is key, and that’s why you will be able to taste the offerings of two pastry shops from Porreres: Forn i Pastisseria Benet Barón and Llucia De Tot Gust, in addition to the varied offerings of the Food Trucks La Porota, Love Croquet, and the Bunyols de na Turi.
The Raïm Wine Fest in Porreres will also feature children’s activities. The storytelling session ‘Històries de Veremar’ will introduce the younger ones to a world where grapes, vine leaves, and vineyards are the main characters. And for those who love to look their best, the Glitter Raïm workshop is a must-visit where they will discover a very special makeup inspired by grapes, full of fantasy and especially glitter.
