The Raïm Wine Fest comes to Palma with a luxury musical line-up, with island roots and a diversity of musical styles

The ninth edition of the Raïm Wine Fest, to be held at the Parc de la Mar on November 16, bets on live music with the Menorcan Avalanx, Aina Losange, Pitxorines and the incombustible Cacao, Chitowsky and Esburbat DJ

One of the features that identify the Raïm Wine Fest is live music, an essential ingredient in this itinerant festival of Vi de la Terra Mallorca. In the last two years, it has visited different locations with the aim of bringing the wine of the Mallorcan wineries to the public, especially young people. Now, when the festival arrives in Palma, it does so with an exceptional line-up, a mixture of different styles -electronic, indie, traditional, eclectic, urban…- and with a clear commitment to island groups and DJs.

We have long wanted them to take the stage at the Raïm. Now, finally, on November 16, we will enjoy the incredible show offered by the Menorcan band, Avalanx, formed by 14 musicians who fuse electronic music and acoustic instruments in a session planned minute by minute, without cuts, in the purest DJ style. They will present new remixes of great hits of dance music as well as authentic creations. Saxophones, trumpets, trombones, keyboards, guitars and electric basses will fill the stage to offer an overwhelming sound and light performance, with a unique style.

Raïm will also celebrate this ninth edition with Aina Losange, known for her creativity in the world of fashion, arts, and music. Her beginnings as a DJ date back to early 2012 and since then her musical trajectory has evolved into an eclectic style that encompasses reggaeton, house, trap, techno, dancehall, pop and hits. A multifaceted artist, with an urban style, she will be in charge of closing a magical night.

Neither could we miss one of the most unique Mallorcan groups of the current scene. The group triumphs on stage sharing the music of the popular Cançoner de Mallorca with an innovative style, incorporating their own arrangements that drink from traditional music but also from jazz and classical music. The nine Pitxorines will also be at the Raïm Wine Fest in Palma with those songs that we sang when we were little – “Sor Tomasseta”, “La ciutat de Nàpols” or “Pep no té nas”- and that come back to life with the voice and instruments of these young artists.

These new additions will be joined by the groups and DJ’s that have accompanied us in different editions of Ram Wine Fest, such as the members of Cacao, Chitowsky and Esburbat DJ -one of our Wine DJ’s. They will be brought to life by Albert Dols, also a Vi de la Terra Mallorca winemaker. It will be the third edition of Raïm in which he participates with his indie music, and he assures that “it is very easy to play music at Raïm Wine Fest because people are predisposed to have a good time. The feedback I’ve had has always been very positive. From the stage I see people dancing, who are happy, so I also enjoy it very much. The line-up for this year’s edition of Palma is impressive, and it’s a pleasure to share the stage with bands like Avalanx or Aina Losange. The level is getting higher and higher. I’m sure people will have a great time, and we will have a great time with them”.

The Ram will celebrate its ninth edition in Palma on November 16, at the Parc de la Mar. Nearly forty wineries from Mallorca will be present. They will offer visitors unique wines, with their own identity, and with a clear appreciation for the local varieties. Admission is free, with limited capacity, from 1 pm until 1 am. There will also be food and wine workshops, food trucks and activities for children as usual in all editions of Raïm Wine Fest.
