Nearly forty wineries will participate on November 16 in the ninth edition of the traveling festival of Vi de la Terra Mallorca that, after two years of touring different municipalities, makes a big bet on Palma
The adventure began in October 2022 in Costitx, and since then, the Raïm Wine Fest has visited Deià, Portocolom, Porreres, Sant Llorenç des Cardassar and Pollença. During these two years, the itinerant Festival of Vi de la Terra Mallorca has established itself as a meeting point between Mallorcan wines and the local public, especially the young public. Now, Raïm takes a qualitative leap, grows, and arrives in Palma, where it will celebrate its ninth edition on November 16, in the Parc de la Mar. Nearly forty wineries from Mallorca will be present. They will offer visitors unique wines, with their own identity, and with a clear commitment to local varieties. Admission is free, with limited capacity, from 1 pm until 1 am.
With the Raïm Wine Fest also comes all the gastronomic, musical and children’s activities that accompany it, with some novelties that will be confirmed in the coming weeks. In addition, the festival is a showcase of the close connections that exist between the world of wine and cuisine. With great professionals and relevant cuisine names from Mallorca, some of which will be part of the line-up of this edition of RWF.
Vi de la Terra Mallorca bets on Palma to continue connecting its public with the wineries of the island and extend the wine and gastronomic wealth. Palma is a first class gastronomic destination that could not be missing in the calendar of the Raïm Wine Fest, which has the collaboration of the City Council of Palma and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Natural Environment.
Vi de la Terra Mallorca is a Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) that brings together 80 wineries on the island, more than 300 growers, with a vineyard area of about 1,800 hectares in production. As a quality brand, all the wines of the member wineries are made exclusively with grapes from the island, which gives them uniqueness and a very important link with the territory.
